Job Description

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an mid level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and develop modules across the technology stack
* Deliver high quality technical solutions to multiple global stakeholders in a fast paced environment
* Manage tasks, projects, and dependencies effectively in order to deliver quality solutions on-time
* Mentor other members of team and enforce best practices
* Be comfortable introducing new technologies and new ideas as required.
* Excellent coding discipline
* Ability to excel in a team environment as well as work independently
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Strong analytical and problem solving skill
* Ability to mentor team members
* 5+ years of software development experience with Core Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Batch, RESTful Web services, design patterns
* Proficiency in Extended JavaScript, Angular JS, AJAX, JSON
* Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, databases, O/S.
* Experience developing high-performance multi-threaded applications
* Thorough understanding of server side integration, Restful, Spring MVC, web services
* Good knowledge of design patterns and providing solutions to complex design issues
* Good skills in web servers such as WebSphere, Tomcat
* Participate and contribute in design, architectural solutions
* Experience with source code management tools such as RTC, SVN
* Experience in Cloud Technologies
* Strong understanding of Java core APIs, JDBC, MVC Frameworks.
* Hands on experience in Servlets, JSP, Spring, Hibernate, WebSphere /Tomcat, JS/TS
* Should have good exposure to Oracle(SQL,PL/SQL),
* Define solution and prepare technical specifications according to Functional Specifications
* Knowledge or experience in other emerging technologies and frameworks is an added advantage
