Job Description

Identify, Analyze, and announce new and updated Reorg Corporate Action events using various vendor sources.

Determine key terms of Corporate Action offers for creation of and transmittal of notification to internal and external security holders.

Liaise with Depositories, Agents, Trustees and Issuers to ensure event accuracy and completeness.

Pro-actively seek out educational and informational sources to remain current on industry trends.

Provide backup coverage for team members and assist team members during high volume periods.

Research and respond on operational inquiries from clients, ensuring responses are appropriate, complete and meet service level standards.

Provide creative solutions to reduce errors and to ensure adherence to audit and control policies.

Ensure that any team-specific procedures conform and are shared with other teams.

Create and use quality service measurement tools to ensure compliance with operational.

Maintain awareness of product changes and system enhancements.

* Req Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience:

2+ year business related experience 1+ years related experience

Demonstrated analytical and investigative skills for problem identification and resolution

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Proficient PC skills (MS Office Suite, Word, Excel, Access a plus)

Strong interpersonal, analytical, attention to detail, time management and problem solving

Flexibility/Orientation to Change

Organization/Prioritization Abilities/Multi-task

Follow-up, Quality Orientation

Team Player

Candidates must be able to perform their duties in a dynamic, fast paced work setting and be able to exercise flexibility under the daily challenges.

Must understand the importance of superior customer service, accuracy in execution, task follow through and have the ability to work as a member of a high performance work team

Ability to work on some US Holidays

Ability to work overtime during seasonal or market volume spikes
