ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Build and maintain demand plans using appropriate statistical models, incorporated business strategies, key customer information from Business Unit, Finance, Marketing, and Sales
* Work cross-functionally to gain alignment on consensus demand. Ensure the demand plan fully supports the business, meet inventory profile targets, and fully optimize the Supply Chain strategies
* Collaborate with Sales and Account teams on demand forecast and supply positioning
* Analyze, propose demand adjustments as appropriate based on evolving trends in the industry and key account assumption changes.
* Communicate critical changes with Factory teams proactively and work to optimize capacity as much as possible
* Work closely with Product Managers for End-Of-Life planning and new product transitions while minimizing inventory exposure
* Publish daily demand supply reports for customer commits
* Monitor forecast demand vs, actual consumption and provide input to prioritize factory schedules
* The position requires the individual to be self-motivated and have a proven track record of accuracy and timeliness under pressure. The position requires strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of management. The candidate should demonstrate leadership skills and work well in a group environment. Collaboration with different groups and personnel is key in daily operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor degree with a strong emphasis in supply chain, math, statistics, and/or operations research

* 3+ years previous experience preferred

* Candidate should have training/experience/education in quantitative analysis. The candidate should have strong excel skills with emphasis on modeling, solving, creating pivot tables, and working with different data sources to generate reports for management. Knowledge of Essbase, SAP, Tableau and other web-based systems will be a plus.
