As Mechanic 3, Facilities, you will be trained on all aspects of HVAC, Abatement Systems, Process Systems, Controls and will be ab active ERT member. You must be able to climb ladders and lift a minimum of 50 lbs. You will work a compressed work week night schedule. You will be performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* The Facilities Technician will perform assigned maintenance and repair tasks and project work supporting a variety of functional areas.
* This position will perform routine inspections, FMS monitoring, repairs, calibrations, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical / mechanical equipment and systems, which support manufacturing, labs, and security and office areas.
* Compressed work week schedule.
* Night Shift.

REQUIRED:

* High School diploma and AS Degree, or completion of technical trade school classes
* Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance and construction experience in high tech. manufacturing facility, with emphasis on electrical / mechanical trades
* Advanced technical electrical and mechanical knowledge from formal training
* Certification related to maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of facilities equipment and systems
* Experience operating, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical and control systems, including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, humidifiers and dehumidifiers, centrifugal and diaphragm pumps, air compressors, exhaust fans, emergency generators
* Understand and utilize equipment manuals, schematics, instrumentation, PC and PLC based facilities monitoring / control system, to troubleshoot and repair facilities equipment
* Interface with manufacturers, suppliers and outside service providers when needed to keep manufacturing in operation
* Participation in ERT is mandatory
* Overtime mandatory
* Effective communication, both verbal and written
* 2-4 years experience
