As Global Partnerships Manager you will identify and execute the new partner engagements, developing the next great collaboration for our common customers, including potential region-specific engagement. You will work with product and segment marketing teams to grow business by providing data-driven, actionable business guidance. You will build and maintain a market models for potential new engagements, capture drivers and trends, and distill insights from global market research. You will evaluate and ultimately recommend and pursue both hardware and software partnerships based on merits of developing mutually beneficial products or marketing engagements for common OEM and Channel customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Define engagement for select partner targets and pursue to acquisition
* Develop and define an outreach/recruiting program to draw potential new partnerships to WDC
* Develop and maintain a pipeline for new partnerships, including evaluation criteria
* Ensure organizational alignment in onboarding new partners, from technology exchange through GTM and public communication
REQUIRED:
* Degree from an accredited university, MBA a plus
* 7+ years in business development, partnership management or product marketing, ideally within the gaming industry
* Experience developing a business and evaluating pipeline opportunities and working with a diverse set of potential hardware and software partners
* Experience operating with and leading cross-functional teams
* Extremely proactive in pursuing opportunities, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to navigate complex global organizations
* Familiarity with B2B and B2C GTM models
* Willingness to travel (when appropriate and safe to do so)
* Mandarin fluency.
