Job Description

The Program Execution Lead role is a full-time professional position that will oversee Strategic Initiatives projects and be responsible for its successful and on time delivery. The Program Execution Lead will collaborate with multiple subprojects and cross functional teams, sharing information across the projects to ensure alignment and awareness for all relevant stakeholders. They will work closely with key stakeholders across the Product, Operations, IT and Finance teams to identify risks and barriers and create mitigation plans. Finally, the Program Execution Lead will act as a point of escalation to Steering Committee leadership for key decisions and support as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Develops and maintains relationships with key internal customers to identify emerging needs and business challenges
* Responsible and accountable for the coordinated management of multiple projects directed toward strategic business and other organizational objectives
* Coaches team members to ensure process adherence and effective project management by utilizing best practice project management skills, as well as framing and resolving issues through mutual collaboration and ensuring effective team dynamics and mutual accountability for the project's success
* Provides direction and leadership to cross-functional teams while directing and managing project tasks involving initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing
* Manages cost, schedule, and performance of component projects while ensuring ultimate success of the program
* Presents periodic status reports on current programs and future opportunities to the executive management
* Develops project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources leveraging team inputs and strengths
* Implements process improvement and standardization to improve PMO effectiveness
* Maintains continuous alignment of program scope with strategic business objectives. Makes recommendations to modify programs to enhance effectiveness toward the business result or strategic intent
* Provides critical leadership to ensure overall quality of project planning and execution, while minimizing and mitigating project risks
* Provides the communication link between the project team and Steering Committee
* Provides input to business unit leaders during the strategic planning process
* Provide coaching and leadership to Program Managers and Project Managers
* Works in concert with product, operations, and technology leaders to identify and manage risk assessment and communicate accordingly
* Performs additional duties as assigned by manager

Required Qualifications:

* Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience and a bachelor's degree; or 2 years of relevant professional experience and a master's degree
* Solid understanding of the healthcare industry
* Strong customer focus and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadline constraints
* Ability to network effectively at all levels and influence without direct management oversight
* Demonstrated strength in problem solving and analytics and capable of driving insight to action
* Ability to articulate with strong presentation skills and to contribute to executive-level discourse; excellent written communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

* Familiarity with Agile methodology
* Demonstrated experience in gathering, writing, and translating business requirements
* Ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences
* Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment, and deal with ambiguity
* Effective written and verbal communicator, with proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across a variety of stakeholders, including providing recommendations to upper management

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $94,500 to $171,700.
