The Global Strategy & Risk Management (GSRM) team partners with UHC Global entities (UHG Brazil, Lusiadas in Portugal, Banmedica in Chile, Peru Columbia) and works with local Information Security, Procurement, Legal/Compliance and Operations teams to design and implement effective supplier data security management, portfolio optimization, and rigorous front door gatekeeping controls. The goal is to design locally-based and stand-alone data security operating model that balances UHG Corporate requirements, Information Security (ISO) standards and compliance with local privacy laws and regulations, such as GDPR in Europe and LGPD in Brazil.

Each entity follows a different implementation plan based on size, volume of suppliers, existing processes, technology platforms. Upon full implementation, the GSRM team will continue to be involved in an ongoing monitoring and maturing the data security function, not only for suppliers but other third party entities (i.e. brokers, hybrid providers, etc.).

This role will closely support the GSRM lead responsible for developing and implementing this function across the various active international entities.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Become the key owner of the newly developed External Vendor Portal (EVP) supporting the global supplier assessments and risk remediation efforts. Work with the entity leads to assure accurate prioritization, data integrity, and rigorous follow-through to meet timely compliance and completion to security assessment requests
* Develop operational metrics to assure consistent reporting from EVP and as much as possible mirror UHG metrics for domestic and integrated supplier base. Assist with the creation of various presentation materials used for updates and awareness for staff meetings, steering committees, and UHC and UHG leadership
* With increased local regulatory requirements and the adoption of LGPD in Brazil in 2021, large volume of risk suppliers will need to be put through a security evaluation and risk remediation. Provide valuable support to UHG Brazil Supplier Risk Management team with the significant number of suppliers in 2021 pipeline for security assessment and risk remediation. Assist with supplier data input, trouble-shooting supplier registration issues and managing the end-to-end supplier security workflow
* Assist the Global Risk team with the overall project management of individual plans, workstreams and tasks, tracking status of milestones and deliverables and timeline updates. Create workflows for overall end-to end vendor lifecycle processes based on each entity's requirements as well as platforms and processes already in place

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Security, Supply Chain or equivalent experience
* 3+ years of experience in tracking, planning projects, working with large data sets and making data - driven analytical decisions
* Project coordinator / management experience
* Experience working simultaneously on multiple initiatives
* Intermediate or greater proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
* Strong data reporting and analytical skills
* Written and verbal proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in a supplier risk management function
* Experience working with Office 365 tools
* Experience working with large data sets
* Basic understanding of information security controls

Colorado Residents Only: The hourly range for Colorado residents is $25.63 to $45.72.
