Primary Responsibilities:

* Lead the creation of next-generation technology platforms and their supporting ecosystems to deliver a cloud-centric, best in class Constituent Experience
* Drive strong engagement with internal Optum Tech teams in defining cloud transformation roadmap from vision and strategy to execution and implementation
* Partner with technology teams to align cloud strategy to overall enterprise architecture strategies and roadmap
* Analyze the current infrastructure environment to detect critical deficiencies and collaborate with the various enterprise teams
* Build end-to-end solution plans in the form of roadmaps that define the future state solution, scope of solution initiatives, and solution delivery sequencing through transformation states
* Align capital program to enterprise strategy while leveraging existing components and capabilities across the business segment landscape
* Solve large, complex problems and communicate solutions concisely that drives clarity to multiple business and technology stakeholders
* Influence organizations - who have historically worked in isolation - to partner together on a common platform strategy

Required Qualifications:

* 10+ years of experience in Technology Delivery
* 5+ years of experience as a Technology leader
* 3+ years of Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud services, Azure Cloud, Microservices, ETL, etc.
* 2+ years of experience in delivering end to end cloud migration preferably Azure cloud
* End to end cloud native infrastructure experience including VMs, containers, common services, cloud components, usages, pricing, loads, scalability etc.
* Experience in building and delivering scalable and high performing cloud native applications
* If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field
* Knowledge in MMIS systems, Salesforce and emerging technologies
* Located in Eden Prairie, MN

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $110,200 to $211,700.
