Position Description:

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Customer Insights Senior Analyst to join our team. This position will contribute to our Strategic Insights team, which has an increasingly important leadership role in driving growth for UnitedHealth Group and enabling our mission to help people to live healthier lives.

This role will support strategic insight initiatives that have visibility across various Optum Heath business divisions with a focus on experience measurement and highly visible Net Promoter Score (NPS) programs across products for consumer and clients.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Cultivate relationships with internal business partners to understand business needs and gain alignment on NPS research efforts
* Develop and implement research plans (with emphasis on NPS surveys) that bring insights and new learning into the organization across Optum Health businesses
* Manage overall projects including sampling and survey design, execution, and reporting
* Oversee vendor deliverables to ensure quality output
* Analyze survey data to identify themes and ways to improve the customer experience and NPS
* Collaborate with other functional teams to compile findings from various sources and uncover broader and deeper insights
* Develop business recommendations and action steps to improve customer experience
* Present data and recommendations in a manner that is easy to understand and drives change within the organization
* Provide analysis and reporting for ad-hoc requests from internal clients
* Contribute to the success of a strong strategic insights group as a collaborative team member

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
* 2+ years of experience with primary marketing research
* 4+ year of experience analyzing data
* Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location.
* Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Effective presentation skills

* Master's Degree in Marketing Research or business-related field
