You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* or work onsite as you take on some tough challenges. You will perform data entry of approved invoices into a computerized accounting system and process check runs to ensure timely and accurate payments of the invoices. Verify provider/vendor files are complete and in accordance with IRS regulations for 1099 reporting. Match corporate invoices to purchase orders. Approve FedEx and corporate invoices for payment.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Perform data entry of approved invoices into a computerized accounting system for payment.
* Process weekly check runs and filing of invoices.
* Approve FedEx and corporate invoices for payment.
* Investigate payment inquiries.
* Verify provider/vendor tax id's are complete and accurate

Required Qualifications:

* Associate Degree in Accounting/Business Related Field or High School Diploma/GED plus equivalent work experience
* 1+ year accounting related work experience
* 6+ months of accounting and accounts payable procedures and practices.
* Accounting database experience
* Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office programs and integrated accounting systems experience
* If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelors' Degree in Accounting/ Business Related Field
* National Career Readiness Certificate
* Proficient computer skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Proven data entry and organizational skills, as well as attention to detail and the ability to work in a team oriented environment
* Ability to handle corporate documents confidentially

Colorado Residents Only: The hourly range for Colorado residents is $17.12 to $30.34.
