The starting pay for this position is $13.75/hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sanitarian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the plant in accordance with the Master Cleaning Schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Maintain cleanliness of plant in accordance with Master Cleaning Schedule per SSOPs
* Must complete all required cleaning logs
* Work with various chemicals / cleaning agents in a safe manner following all applicable safety guidelines and procedures.
* Be able to use high pressure water hose and high-pressure air wand in cleaning
* Must be able to work every Sunday and occasional holidays.
* Must be able to work a variable schedule and be able to work up to 12 hours in one shift
* Communicate with various departments on a regular basis
* Must be willing to work outside on occasion
* Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor
* Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements
* Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicable

REQUIREMENTS:

* Must be able to successfully complete scissor lift training
* Must complete Fall Protection Training and adhere to all procedures
* Ability to flex/grip with wrists/hands
* Walking, bending, squatting, standing and lifting of up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis
* Must be able to tolerate heights up to 70 feet off of the ground on occasion
* Must be able to move heavy objects with a mechanical device
* Must be able to work with minimal supervision
