Job Description

This position could work in any department of the Processing facility. Must have knowledge of electrical and mechanical, such as motor wiring, control wiring, running conduit, and pull wiring. Must have knowledge of NEC, electronics, PLC, Computers, etc. Must be able to perform mechanical and electrical duties. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, turning, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are required in all areas. Must be able to work on and inspect all equipment. Lifting 50+ pounds is required in many areas. Must be able to tolerate climates ranging from very cold to very hot and form very wet to very dry. Must be able to climb up and down stairs to get to/from the work areas.

Position will be for 3rd shift (overnights). May work other shifts when necessary.

Maintenance crews work 7 days per week. Scheduling can include some major holidays.

Must have a valid Drivers License and be able to obtain a company license.

Must be able to pass all mechanical knowledge and hands-on tests within 30 days.

Must be able to understand and agree to follow Safety Rules (ie. Lockout/Tagout).

Must be able to comply with OSHA standards

Must be able to train in and use Self-Contained Breathing Air Packs.

Must be able to read and write and have a basic knowledge of math.

Must be able to move freely throughout the facility (indoors and outdoors), over and around equipment, people and obstacles.

Must have good hand/eye coordination.

Must be able to climb ladders.

Must be able to reach, lift and work overhead.

Must be able walk, sit or stand for the duration of the shift.

Must be able to communicate with other maintenance personnel to receive and pass along information.

No beards allowed for safety reasons.
