Job Description

These positions involve basic to intermediate skill knife work, such as trimming and removing bones from meat products.

This position could work in any department of this pork processing facility. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are involved in all areas continuously. Lifting is involved in many areas up to 65lbs. May involve climbing stairs/ladders. These positions work in a cold, damp or hot, humid environment.

Must be willing and able to work in the following two work environments;

Harvest: Includes processing offal products. Environment is wet, humid, and hot. Temperatures are seasonal and can be greater than 90 degrees. Lifting requirement varies from 0-65 lbs.

Cut/Converting: Includes further processing of fresh pork products. Environment is cold and damp. Temperature ranges from 35 to 45 degrees. Lifting requirement varies from 0-65 lbs.

Must be able and willing to work 6 days a week, Monday-Saturday.
