Tasks
Ability to work multiple shifts. Vaccination is 1st shift and moves are 2nd shift. Ability to work in dusty environment subject to outdoor seasonal inclement weather conditions. Assist with the proper vaccination, movement and chick placements of pullets and roosters. Assist hen growers with getting birds on the slats in the evening after movement, moving males from spike farm and older flocks to younger flocks, catching and unloading birds, drawing blood from pullets and roosters, water vaccinations on pullet farms, and baiting stations for rodent control on farms. Tasks will require bending, squatting, pulling, lifting, prolonged walking, standing, and manual dexterity. The ability to lift 50lbs. will also be required. Work closely with growers to maintain the safety, care, and maintenance of all pullets and roosters. Must not own any poultry (unless Tyson flock). Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
No rehire for former Tyson Team Members that were termed for gross misconduct. Former Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 90 calendar days.
