Job Description

This position could work in any department of the Processing or Harvest department. This position must be willing to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 40 pounds and standing 8-10 hours a day. Work around meat environment such as blood, fat, bones, hair, and any other cattle product.

Positions on Processing will involve use of a knife and hook to bone out or trim large pieces of product or involve the use of powered equipment such as saws, whizard knives, or skinner machines. Other positions may involve packaging department which involves bagging and boxing product. Work in processing department involves extreme cold environment with temperature at 33-49 degrees.

Positions on Harvest will involve use of a knife and hook to remove the hide from the cattle, trim large pieces of product or involve the use of powered equipment such as saws or air knives. Other positions may involve operating heavy pieces of equipment. Work in harvest department involves extreme hot and wet environment with temperature ranges from 33-100 degrees.

The Team Member must be willing to complete all required training for the job and perform any other duties as assigned.

Must be able to perform position tasks. In addition, must be available to work any shift , including weekends, and available for overtime.
