Sanitation Operator Full Time- New London, WI 54961

This position starts at $14.00 per hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift and potential for overtime. At one (1) year the base rate will be $21.30 with yearly increases. Base rate subject to change depending on job classification. We have open positions for Sanitation Operators on 3rd shift.

Position Description:

This position is responsible for covering, sanitizing, cleaning and prepping equipment for use in various departments

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Cover motors, electrical plugs and all computer equipment
* Clean up excess waste on the floors
* Use a pressure hose to spray down all equipment
* Scour all equipment with scouring pad and/or chemicals are required
* Sanitize equipment and areas with disinfectant, oil when done
* Cleaning of lights, pipes, walls, refrigeration units, etc.
* Handle and distribute cleaning chemicals and record data.
* Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor.
* Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.
* Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirement

REQUIREMENTS:

* Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
* Ability to perform basic math functions (adding, subtracting, fractions, etc.)
* Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed
* Must be able to reach high and low levels, frequently
* Ability to flex/grip with wrist/hands occasionally (less than 5 flexion/minute)
* Must be able to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level up to 40 pounds frequently
* Must be able to work in extreme hot or cold temperatures in a damp environment.
* The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
* Must rotate as required for position, required.
