Job Description

This position is an entry level position where successful candidates will learn to safely operate stand-up forklifts and other types of forklifts in order to perform duties within shipping.

Essential Job Function

Organization of the freezer

Scanning al product into blast.

All pallets meet specifications (no broken boards)

Product is properly stacked.

Product is properly strapped.

If all criteria are not met the pallet needs to be returned to production to be corrected.

Must be able to tolerate doing continuous physical labor in a cold, humid environment (12 hours a day)

Must be able to tolerate working in freezer (-40 degrees) on a regular basis

Requirements

Required to operate PITs (stand-up forklifts and other types of forklifts)

Required to operate Destacker table and removed pallet spacers.

Maintain a clean work environment.

Assist in ensuring food-safe, high quality products are produced that meet or exceed all regulatory and legal requirements

Forklift training is provided

Must take and pass a forklift operators test within the 90-day probationary period

18 years of age

Team Member must have completed at least 6 months of continuous employment

Team Member must be able to perform the duties of the position requested
