Job Description

The Manager, Retail FP&A will provide financial leadership to the Prepared Foods Retail business units. The Manager must be able to work in a dynamic environment and deliver efficient reporting and quality insights to drive financial performance. The Manager must bring a continuous improvement mindset to business operations and processes. Day to day accountabilities include coordination of the monthly forecasting and strategic planning processes and leading the reporting and monthly close processes across the Prepared Foods Retail business units. This role will also provide insight and support on cost analysis, revenue management and other strategic initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Develop financial plans and strategies to drive profitable and sustainable growth
* Coordinate the annual plan and monthly forecasting process for the Prepared Foods retail business units
* Develop standardized reporting and processes across retail business units
* Own monthly close process for marketing activity across retail business units and ensure financial accuracy
* Lead team of Financial Analysts to deliver standard and ad-hoc reporting that provides insight and impact to the business
* Partner across Finance to reduce the amount of time spent on non-value-added work
* Develop business case recommendations, financial models and analyze financial impact of growth and cost saving initiatives
* Ensure compliance with external reporting and internal policies and controls
* Provide leadership to 5 direct reports

All of the above activities are performed with an ownership mindset in a dynamic team environment demonstrating close collaboration within the Finance team and with cross-functional partners.

Requirements:

Education/Certifications: Undergrad degree in Finance, Accounting

Experience: 5+ years with some FP&A experience

Computer Skills: adept at Office systems including Excel and Power Point; SAP, BPC, Power BI knowledge is also beneficial

Communication Skills: Able to communicate at all levels of the organization

Supervisory: Will have 1 direct report

Travel: As required
