Machine Operator- Full Time- New London, WI 54961

This position starts at $14.00 per hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift and potential for overtime. At one (1) year the base rate will be $20.85 with yearly increases. Base rate subject to change depending on job classification. We have open positions for Machine Operators on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.

Position Description:

Applicants will be considered for any open machine operating position on the shift designated in the posting, such as day, evening or night shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* The positions consist of operating packaging machines, grinders or stuffers and may include tow motors.
* The setup and tear down or clean equipment i.e., packaging machines, grinders or stuffers
* This position may count, weigh or document product counts and or times
* Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor
* Perform general housekeeping duties in the department
* Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements
* Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicable. May use SAP if transferred/rotated

REQUIREMENTS:

* Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
* Ability to perform basic math functions (adding, subtracting, fractions, etc.)
* Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed
* Must be able to reach high and low levels, frequently
* Ability to flex/grip with wrist/hands occasionally (less than 5 flexion/minute)
* Must be able to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level up to 40 pounds frequently
* Must be able to work in extreme hot or cold temperatures in a damp environment.
* The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
