Job Description

SUMMARY: This job is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards of products produced. Other responsibilities include production paperwork verification; production floor checks; performing GMP and housekeeping audits; responsible for Team Member food safety training. Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities evaluating results coordinating with others. This position is responsible for food safety, food quality, and legality. This position is an overnight C shift position working directly with maintenance and the contracted sanitation company to meet Pre-Operational and Food Safety requirements. REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree preferred. Experience: 2 plus years in a food manufacturing environment production in fresh meats preferred. Prior supervisory experience preferred. HACCP certified preferred; must have broad knowledge of HACCP, USDA, GMP, SSOP's. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills for creating simple queries spreadsheets etc. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills verbal and written; bilingual a plus. Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a small group of personnel who perform somewhat similar tasks.
