Summary
The Tool and GSE Custodian is responsible for scheduling/performing all maintenance of assigned tooling and GSE. The Tool and GSE Custodian coordinates and maintains all aspects of assigned tools and GSE.
Job Responsibilities
Perform scheduled inspections of toolboxes
Ensure calibrated items in tool room are maintained in accordance with calibration requirements
Request/purchase/implement new tooling
Create and maintain inventories as needed
Ensure organization and cleanliness of tools and tool room
Perform and/or schedule all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of GSE
Ensure readiness of all GSE for use, report any and all discrepancies to supervision
Request/purchase/implement new GSE
Create and maintain inventories and status sheets
Create periodic reports for supervision and management
Assist maintenance team in all efforts involving tools and GSE
Operate forklifts as necessary
Safety of the workforce
Readiness of tooling and GSE
Support the maintenance team
