Job Description

Observe and train workers to determine proper use of prescribed safety equipment and safety procedures.

Ensure that all federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and regulations are met.

Ensure that OSHA and other environmental and safety recordkeeping reporting requirements are met.

Tour and inspect company facilities to ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance is maintained while recommending corrective or preventive measures where needed.

Participate in the investigation and evaluation of accidents to develop future safety measures.

Coordinate and provide in-house safety training for new hires during orientation.

Review new operations, processes, and procedures to assure EHS issues and hazards are addressed.

Assist in the administration of the behavior-based safety programs.

Conduct inspections of hazardous and non-hazardous waste to manage proposed disposition of use.
