Job Description

Prepare engineering bills of materials (BOMs) using Routes & Structures (R&S) spreadsheets or other formats.
Assist Product Engineering personnel in BOM updates and recommendations regarding proper structuring of new and revised parts to up-level assemblies, modules, and vehicles.
Ensure bill of material accuracy through BOM comparison and physical audits and maintain BOM commonality and consistency across assigned product lines.
Communicate with engineering personnel regarding BOM changes affecting shared platforms.
Track status of unreleased drawings for assigned models.
Enter information from change notices (CNs) into the ERP system (SAP) and coordinate BOM effectivity with product launch team and buyer/planners.
Perform where-used analyses of components and assemblies to ensure all affected vehicle BOMs are correctly revised under engineering Change Notices (CNs).
Assemble Change Review Board (CRB) and assist in the processing of data and metrics related to the CR-CN process.
Assist in developing ERP and Engineering Change Management training programs and materials for TSV personnel.
Maintain vehicle BOM documentation (platform sheet mark-ups and revisions).
