JOB SCOPE

* Responsible for maintaining a gross close percentage, net close percentage and generated sales at or above assigned targets as part of the Sales Performance Program.
* Protects lead value by diligently making every effort to close the sale. Serves as a lead and mentor to Sales Project Consultants and assists in their training and professional development.

JOB SUMMARY

* The Field Sales Lead is responsible for obtaining sales by conducting full in-home product presentations to customers via scheduled sales appointments utilizing the complete selling process in order to achieve required metrics.
* Utilizing a Ride-Along process and 1:1 coaching conversations, this position also leads and trains Sales Project Consultants in effective sales methods that meet Transform's procedures while delivering a superior customer/member experience and striving to achieve required sales metrics.

Job Requirements JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintains acceptable sales performance metrics at or above company average. Responsible for obtaining sales by conducting full in-home product presentations to customer/member via scheduled sales appointments utilizing the complete selling process in order to achieve required metrics and performance results. Accountable for the sales performance of assigned Sales Project Consultants
Ensures all contracts are complete, legible and accurate with respect to required documentation. Makes certain the customer/ member understands the contract and confirms all pertinent elements have been communicated in writing as applicable
Develops Sales Project Consultants by ensuring their product knowledge and selling skills are competent within defined product categories. Utilizes 1:1 coaching, role-playing and field ride-along to train and develop Sales Project Consultants. Partners with Region Product Category Trainer to support the training and development needs of the Sales Project Consultant
Conducts an average of 10 ride-along appointments per week with new or under performing Sales Project Consultants. Utilizes time to present and/or observe a full in-home product presentation to the customer/member utilizing the company s selling process in order to develop and enhance the Sales Project Consultants skillet. Completes field ride-along evaluations on Sales Project Consultants for all appointments that result in a presentation to the customer/member
Identifies and addresses performance deficiencies on Sales Project Consultants through analyzing performance data/metrics, 1:1 coaching, skill development techniques such as ride-along and in-home selling observations. Provides specific feedback for improvement and monitors results, following up as needed to address performance issues
Partners with the Area Sales Manager on employment related decisions on Sales Project Consultants, including hiring, performance management, demotion, promotions and/or termination. Area Sales Manager is responsible for making final determination.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Home Improvement Sales License only required in certain states
Ability to supervise associates reporting to them and identify areas for associate development and improvement
Ability to train in classroom environment along with in the customer s home or driving with the associate
Ability to follow management direction and SOPs as well as represent the Company in a business-like and professional manner
Ability to establish priorities, negotiate contracts, and read and interpret financial information
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Ability to lift and carry product sample display cases. Occasional lifting of sample cases that individually do not exceed 40 lbs. Depending on the product, sample case weight can range from 5-40 lbs.
Ability to drive in various weather conditions for long periods of time and in various geographic areas including the ability to drive, on average, 750 miles a week (or more as needed)
Sets the example for professional appearance, performance and technical expertise
Ability to access different levels of terrain while performing duties
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English (both orally and in writing) with associates, managers, consumers and others, (For Puerto Rico based associates only must be proficient in English and Spanish written and verbal communications)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of related experience
License/certification in relevant field
Valid Driver License for the State of employment
Up to 100% travel
18 years of age or older
