The Sanmina Fremont facility is a full-service enclosure systems solution manufacturing plant. Located in Californias Silicon Valley, this facility produces low-to-mid volume New Product Introduction (NPI) runs to full-scale volume. The Fremont facility offers everything from small piece parts to fully integrated and tested systems. In addition, this location offers in-house painting capabilities and flexible logistics solutions in distribution, inventory management, and hubbing, as well as repair services.

Job Purpose

Perform product inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures of incoming materials, parts and components used in the assembled jobs.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

* Produce quality work on time Insure associates observe in-line quality protocols
* Execute in-line quality protocols, final QC processes, and IQC procedures
* Inspect and test products per assigned work order (WO) and/or special instructions
* Provide WO status to QC Inspector Team Lead
* Willing to be trained on the following areas: inspection techniques,
* quality methodologies, and use of inspection apparatus and testing equipment
* Comply with company policies and procedures
* Use appropriate forms for all materials transactions such as Return to Stock, MRB, Scrap
* Sustain a safe and clean working environment
* Performing other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

* 3 years hands-on experience in contract manufacturing industry
* Possess working knowledge of inspection techniques, tools and equipment used in the inspection and testing of cable, harness, and electro-mechanical assemblies
* Understand ISO9001 & willing to work overtime as needed
* Able to apply QA/QC theories to achieve actual quality goals
* Able to interpret blueprints/schematics and inspect and test final products to drawings and required standards under limited supervisor and technical support
* Works well with diversified Quality Assurance/Control and Manufacturing
* Able to communicate effectively to QC Inspector Team Lead, Supervisor, Managers, staff and peers
