Job Purpose:
Seasoned professional who leads and implements activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement and inventory control. Will oversee the activities of the team such as material analyst activities.
Nature of Duties:
Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs
Streamline procedures, and implement solutions
Ensures the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels
Work with internal and external vendors to insure compliance with inventory policies and continuity of supply line
Sourcing of mechanical commodities: sheet metals, injection mold, sand and die casting, machining, aluminum and plastic profiles, mechanical assemblies and secondary processes
Education/Experience:
* Bachelor's degree
* Minimum of 12 years experience in Supply Chain, Contract Manufacturing
* Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
* Oracle experience desired
* Experience with Invoice reconciliation and generating Financial Reports is considered a strong plus
* Experience in compiling, analyzing and generating financial reports in the support of management
* Excellent organizational and negotiation skills, strong business analytic capabilities
* Demonstrates good judgment to determine appropriate actions
* Demonstrates leadership skills
* Strong verbal and written communications skills, interpersonal and critical thinking capabilities
* Self-starter, demonstrates initiative and commitments, able to interact with all levels of leadership both internally and externally
* Travel required, both domestic and internationally (as necessary)
