Job Description: Program Manager

We are currently recruiting highly qualified candidates, whose background and career goals meet our needs, for the following position in our Huntsville, AL facility. Please note that due to our Department of Defense contract requirements, U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED

Job Purpose: The Program Manager is responsible for all aspects of a program at the site, serving as the site liaison between the company and the customer to ensure customer needs are met. Programs involve mid to high value, production programs of products and/or development programs for company products. Constant interface with Engineering, Contracts, BD and customer management. Full exposure to program EACs, budgeting and P/L aspects of program management.

Job Responsibilities:

* Excellent ability to prioritize, multi-task, organize, drive project designs and re-designs for cost reduction/avoidance and vertical integration purposes, as required.
* Contacts pertain to significant matters often involving coordination among groups
* Responsible for directing and overseeing projects and ensuring the detailed project plan is developed and completed in concert with the overall Global Account Project Plan.
* Work collaboratively with Sanmina internal groups, including but not limited to; Executive Management, Program Management, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain on feasibility and needs/impact assessments.
* Expertise in managing and resolving sensitive and significant issues while communicating effectively with senior leaders.
* Goals generally communicated in solution or project goal terms and the means of arriving at a solution.
* Ensures all program-related decisions are guided by the terms and conditions of the customers contract
* Understands all aspects required to launch a new program or order
* Responsible for customer management and satisfaction, order management and delivery, revenue achievement, business issue resolution (Accounts Receivable, E&O material issues, PPV, credit, RMAs), and business development
* Understands SCIs and Sanminas offerings for vertical integration and directs customer appropriately towards additional or alternative company products or services
* Travel is required; domestic and internationally.

Education/Experience:

* Bachelor Degree ,MS preferred
* 8+ years experience; project management experience required
* Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
* MS Project expertise
* Supply Chain experience
* Product Cost Reduction experience
* Experience in high-tech and/or operations industries requiring strong project management skills
* Knowledge of Contract Manufacturing, Defense and/or Homeland Security industry with background in Manufacturing and understanding of global Supply Chains
