Job Description

Position Overview

Serving as a senior individual contributor, this role will research, compile and analyze HR data to provide decision support to help drive the business on topics such as turnover, attraction, development, engagement, cost management, and retention. This individual will also be responsible for successfully obtaining, analyzing, and identifying actionable insights from statistical modeling of employee data. The role will have accountability for supporting the design and development and leading the interpretation of workforce reports and dashboards, including identifying key trends, opportunities and problem areas. This role is also responsible for employee data audits and data integrity.

Responsibilities

Workforce Analytics

* Design, develop, maintain and analyze useful metrics, dashboards, analysis and data reporting to support a variety of HR and business initiatives. This requires accessing and utilizing complex data, and predictive analytics; and to interpret, transform and synthesize it to meaningful information for decision making.
* Use technology, analytical and quantitative research tools and models to develop and analyze enterprise-wide people and cross-functional data as needed and assist in interpretation and development of implications to address business needs.
* Respond to scheduled and non-scheduled analytics needs.
* Translate business issues into data requests.
* Maintain awareness of current trends in people analytics with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies.
* Create, maintain and ensure quality assurance of key HR data sets, reports and metrics that are relevant and insightful and highlight key trends in human capital dynamics.
* Applies own logic and intuition to solve workforce challenges beyond what by requested or identified by others.

Consulting

* Serve as the primary consultant for internal clients to design and support analytics and reports, Identify and perform statistical analyses, and make recommendations on complex HR issues in partnership with leadership.
* Present methodology and conclusions of analyses.
* Establish or recommend benchmarks and/or lead data collection to benchmark the organization on human capital metrics.
* Utilize project management skills and indirect leadership skills to facilitate HR projects (including the development and management of workplans.) May serve as a project manager or project workstream lead on multiple projects, initiatives or studies.

Projects/Process Improvement

* Seek opportunities for synergy, improvement, simplification and automation of existing processes and practices with the application of key technologies, and performance measurements/KPIs.
* Combine HR functional knowledge with strong technical expertise of HR systems in order to drive process and system efficiencies/best practices, promote data integrity and ensure delivery of accurate reporting of data to the business.
* Gather functional requirements, maintain documentation, and develop project plans and status reports used for managing projects and that guide then development activities.
* Estimate and develop timelines and strategies for implementing improvement opportunities / recommendations.
* Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required:

* Bachelors degree in business, statistics or related field or equivalent work experience
* 8 years of data analytics and/or HR experience
* 3+ years workforce analytics experience
* 2 years experience in project management or process management
* 2 years HR Information Systems experience

Preferred:

* 5 years workforce analytics experience
* Workday experience

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Required:

* Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills and project management skills
* Strong, working familiarity with statistics and statistical concepts
* Must be a master storyteller ability to explain complicated data-centric offerings, objectives, and results in a way that clearly highlights the message
* Must have strong familiarity with analytics and optimization tool sets and offerings across the owned, earned, social and mobile space
* Experience working with senior managers and executives and ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines
* Utilizes interpersonal skills when working with various customers and peers to accomplish project goals
* Data manipulation skills and experience are a must
* Strong familiarity with behavioral and attitudinal data sets
* Global Human Capital Management System experience
* Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
* Advanced oral and written communication skills and organizational skills
* Acute attention to detail
* Ability to translate business needs and problems into systems design and technical solutions
* Ability to quickly adapt to new methods, work under tight deadlines and stressful conditions
* Ability to set goals, multitask and prioritize workload
* Takes initiative and is accountable
