Job Description

Raytheon Technologies RI&S business unit is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer II. This position will be located in McKinney, TX.

The Digital Module and Processor Products Department is looking for a Production/Sustaining engineer to support efforts involving digital processor modules. The ideal candidate should be willing to collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration. Qualified candidates must be knowledgeable of digital processor modules and have experience debugging complex circuit card assemblies.

Responsibilities include:

* Troubleshooting hardware and process issues down to the component level.
* Resolution of issues in production and in testing.
* Root cause determination and corrective action implementation.
* Identification for areas of improvement with current processes.
* Create troubleshoot guides and other technical documentation.

Required Skills:

* Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting production and/or test in a manufacturing environment
* 2 years of professional relevant experience with a Bachelors degree in a related field or Masters degree
* Knowledge of digital processor modules
* Experience debugging complex circuit card assemblies
* Experience supporting production and/or test in a manufacturing environment
* U.S. Citizenship is required as this position will require a DoD Security clearance within 1st year of start date

Desired Skills:

* Technical writing and formal presentation experience.
* Knowledge of printed circuit board fabrication and circuit card assembly processes and related industry specifications.
* Active DoD Secret Clearance

Required Education (including Major):

* Bachelor's Degree Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent STEM degree

Desired Education:

* Masters Degree in STEM
