Raytheon Technologies currently has an exciting IT position available that supports the Raytheon Technologies mission of making the world a safer place. We are currently seeking an Information Technology Lab Manager with a proven track record of driving operational excellence. These tasks include but are not limited to managing a system deployment lab to re-image and rapid refresh deployed hardware. Perform network maintenance tasks such as patching, configuration management, asset management and conduct capacity and performance analysis and make system configuration and upgrade recommendations. The role will provide technical directions and career development for 2-3 team members. The Operation Lead will be working closely with managers and senior managers to develop areas of focus to centralize and streamline operation processes and documentations to support the IT professionals and to operate more effectively across geographical locations.
Job Duties:
Manage lab and ensuring it meet all policies and procedure requirements
Develop Concept of Operations for the lab work flow
Setup and maintain system provisioning infrastructure (MDT, Kickstart)
Support users in accessing and using the IT lab
Apply advanced analytic skills and technical resources to implement infrastructure solutions
Support the implementation of new technologies
Perform configuration management and deployment across Windows, and Linux environments
Monitor systems for acceptance performance and user accessibility, establish system backups, and monitor logs
Required Skills:
* Five to ten years experience with hardware OS provisioning tools (Microsoft Deployment Tool, Kickstart, etc)
* Experience with VMWare and NetApp technologies
* Solid understanding of network configurations
* Boundary protection and enclaving
* Authentication and access management technologies
* Scripting and automation
* Project management
* People management
* ITIL experience
Desired Skills:
* Experience with SAFe & Jira Tool
* Deep IT technical background
* Ansible
* PowerShell
* Firewall
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
