RIS Space and C2 provides Operations and Maintenance support for the Intelligence Community.

Raytheon Technologies is seeking a technical individual interested in gaining software development and support experience in a dynamic and rewarding environment. Applicant must be able to work independently as well as part of a team, sharing ideas and responsibilities. We are interested in an individual with a desire to learn and participate in all phases of software support that includes maintenance and enhancement of existing systems, design and development of new systems, test, problem investigation, documentation updates, milestone reporting and end user support. Responsibilities include:

* Support to senior engineers with design, development, integration and maintenance of new software functionality
* Provide modifications to defective code
* Analyze and resolve anomalies related to software, system configuration, network interfaces and operating system issues and be able to communicate discoveries and recommended solutions and alternatives to senior engineers and customers
* Interface with and provide support to users
* Ability to adhere to rigid customer defined integration process and follow established SW processes and procedures
* Must be available for occasional off-hours support

Requirements:

* Must have strong teamwork skills that include the ability to interact productively with project leaders, team members, users and customers
* Must have experience with software design, development, programming and testing
* Must have experience programming in object oriented languages
* Must have the ability to learn new systems and languages through self-study
* Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Qualified applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to classified information.
* U.S. Citizenship and an Active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance are required for this position.

Desired Requirements:

* Programming experience in C++ or Java
* Programming experience in Script based languages
* Experience in administration and/ or use of relational databases (Oracle and MySQL)
* Unix or Linux OS experience
* Familiarity with software/CM processes (Clearcase, GIT)
* Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools

Required Education (including Major):

* Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)

In compliance with Colorados Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $48,200 to $81,900; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, education/training, and key skills.
