Job Description

IDS Logistics has a need for a Logistics Manager at our Andover, MA facility. In this role, youll be responsible for managing supplier performance and execution in support of Raytheon's requirements and the suppliers contractual obligations. This will include supplier management based on key performance indicators, budget management, process development, cross-functional and technical coordination from multiple disciplines and supplier site readiness.

Other Responsibilities Will Include:

Ensure supplier is meeting Key Performance Indicators as identified by suppliers contractual obligations
Overall management of supplier daily operations to ensure they are meeting Raytheon requirements
Participate in the development and upkeep of Statement of Work and Company Wide Agreements
Manage space capacity and availability as a mechanism for storage solution for front end planning
Ensure supplier continued excellence including security, safety, quality management
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a large operation.
Identifies resources needed and individual responsibilities within the supplier and Raytheon to ensure supplier success.
Align and support the overall Logistics warehousing strategy and requirements by providing regular updates on the status of various projects as well as supplier performance to management.

Communication and Teamwork:
Work effectively in leading/supporting cross-functional teams
Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
Daily communication with Supplier leadership
Ensure Root Cause/Corrective Actions are being completed from suppliers
Understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully

Required Skills:
6+ years of logistics, operations, planning, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing or military environment
Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and/or Logistics Execution in an Enterprise Resource Planning system such as SAP
Experience with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma or other similar process improvement methodologies
Able to obtain a DoD government clearance )
