Join the Communications and Airspace Management Systems (CAMS) Finance Organization and work with other finance professionals to support execution of Raytheon Technologies programs. This position requires a dedicated individual who can be successful in a fast paced and demanding environment. Responsibilities include cost and schedule monitoring, internal and external monthly earned value reporting, development of quarterly financial Estimate At Completion (EAC) analyses, financial accounting setup, financial planning and analysis, financial change management, internal/external audit support, risk and opportunity identification and development, Inter-Organizational Transfer (IOT) management, and creation of monthly management review analyses.
The candidate will work with all levels of management across all functions within the business (finance, engineering, contracts, deployment, and program office). The program financial analyst positions at Raytheon involve a unique blend of financial analysis and project management skills. The individual will work on process improvements and the building of efficiencies into all financial aspects of the organization.
Key responsibilities for the qualified candidate include:
* Program cost and schedule financial analysis, budgeting and estimating
* Assist with monthly financial forecasting (Bookings, Sales, Profit, & Cash)
* Assist with weekly financial reporting, 5-year strategic plan (5YP), and annual operating plan (AOP)
* Perform Ad-hoc financial and variance analysis upon request
* Be an active member of Finance team; seek ways to optimize and share best practices across the program segments
Security Clearance & Other Requirements:
* U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
Requirements:
* Strong organization and analytical skills, ability to work well in teams, and have strong communication skills
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel including formulas and functions
* Ability to produce and modify Microsoft Power Point presentations
* Experience meeting deadlines and working in a schedule driven environment
Desired Requirements:
* Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (Please upload an unofficial transcript when applying)
* Strong analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills
* Relevant internship or co-op experience
* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and look up functions, is desired but not required
Required Education:
* Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar discipline by Summer 2021 or be a recent college graduate.
