We are looking for a qualified Software Engineering Intern to join our dynamic software development team in Tucson, AZ. The duties performed in this position include developing user interface screens and changes for the RTX EAGLE product line, EAGLE website development, and product testing. The employee will work with our design team and chief engineer to add new features and capabilities, and automate business processes. The employee will perform database maintenance and updates as required. Occasionally the employee will assist with system documentation, training material creation, and testing. For Multi-Level Intern Requisitions:
This position can be a Salary Grade of G04, G05 or NUG based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.

* G04 (College Junior by Fall 2021) - must have completed 60 hours of college
* G05 (College Senior by Fall 2021) - must have completed 90 hours of college
* NUG (Post- Graduate-Masters-PhD by Fall 2021) - must have an undergraduate degree and currently enrolled or about to enroll in a graduate degree program

Security Clearance & Other Requirements:

* This position requires the ability to access systems that contain information restricted to US Citizens based on certain Federal Government contractual requirements.

Requirements:

* Strong communication skills
* Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
* Familiarity with web based technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, Jquery
* Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, C, C++, or C#
* Experience with a relational database management system
* Knowledge of design patterns, data structures and algorithms
* Object Oriented Programming
* AGILE/Scrum

Desired Requirements:

* Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (Please upload an unofficial transcript when applying)
* Ability to create web-based database applications
* Oracle / Microsoft SQL Server experience is a plus
* Experience configuring Apache Web Server
* Experience with TFS, Visual Studio, and the .Net Ecosystem
* ASP.NET(Core) and Entity Framework Experience
* Knowledge of Twitter Bootstrap is a plus
* Angular/React/Xamarin experience is a plus

Required Education:

* Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree from an accredited university and entering as a college Junior (see above under requirements) by Fall 2021. Must be working towards a degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or other related discipline.
