Raytheon Intelligence and Space is seeking a Lab Coordinator position in support of the JPALS (Joint Precision Approach and Landing System) program in Fullerton, CA. The Lab Coordinator will be responsible for all JPALS program laboratories and storage rooms, including engineering development, production, capital (R&D), and closed (classified) labs.

Responsibilities include coordination and implementation of Raytheon and EPIC (Enterprise Process Information Center) processes, procedures, and policies in JPALS labs; supporting DCMA and AS 9100/ISO 9001 audits, and being point of contact for all security matters related to closed labs.

Duties include maintaining and standardizing lab supplies, test equipment, consumables and PPE; and following security, safety and housekeeping policies in multiple labs. The Lab Coordinator shall ensure lab personnel operate to standard lab run rules, LOP (Lab Operating Procedure), and applicable Raytheon policies within the lab, ensuring compliance with Safety, Quality controls, 6S, FOD/FOE, equipment calibration, Raytheon property controls, ESD controls, housekeeping, shelf-life controls, and hazardous material / hazardous waste management. Access to labs will be granted or revoked based on review of personnel training records.

Primary Tasks:
Perform quarterly ESD assessments and annual EHS assessments, store records on RShare lab portal
Monitor training records for lab access, and grant or remove lab access privileges accordingly
Implement ESD controls (garment laundry and testing, wrist straps, SSWS, signage, hygrometers)
Ensure labs comply with FOE control, monitor clean-as-you-go requirements
Support all audit activity with Raytheon and government auditors
Ensure lab supplies (including PPE) are available to lab personnel
Conduct periodic housekeeping walkabouts; submit Facilities requests as needed for lab maintenance
Ensure all door and lab signage are current and conforming to EPIC and Security requirements
Guide calibration of all lab equipment through ARAMIS database and coordinate movement of equipment offsite for calibration
Guide chemicals in labs with Haz Mat and Haz Waste training and protocols, including weekly Haz Mat logging and periodic update of shelf life control app
For closed labs, provide Security Custodian commitments (interface with Security for adds, deletes, and arming/disarming privileges; coordinate new spin-lock combinations; provide training for open/close processes; provide security briefs for newly added personnel)
Coordinate lab access for periodic housekeeping and room cleaning
Support lab expansion activities
Ensure Raytheon and government assets are properly segregated, and isolate nonconforming material from others
Interact with Engineering Asset Manager, Property, and Production Control departments for coordinated movement of engineering, production, and government assets

Required Skills:
Knowledgeable in lab safety and 6S (Housekeeping)
Experience with Quality processes and AS 9100/ISO 9001 audits
Highly organized with attention to detail
Ability to lift 25 pound boxes and equipment
Ability to operate pallet jacks and simple lift assist devices for assets greater than 25 pounds
Demonstrated ability and willingness to prepare status reports with minimal supervision
Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and apply decision making skills
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work in a fast paced team environment and process oriented organization
Active/Current DoD Secret Clearance is required.

Desired Skills:
Lab Management and Asset Management experience
Working knowledge of ARAMIS database for managing calibrated lab equipment
Familiarity with EPIC database
Familiarity with UPS (Uniform Property System) and PRISM databases for property management
Hazardous Material training for managing chemicals
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to work well with others and on teams
Excellent problem solving skills with ability to proactively identify alternate solutions for overcoming difficult challenges

Education Requirements:
Requires a degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field and 2+ years of related work experience or 6 years of commensurate experience in lieu of a degree.
