Position Overview

Freelance Manager, Advertising & Social Photo/ Video Producer, is involved in all facets of producing high quality shoots for multiple brands within Ralph Lauren Advertising. This position is responsible for production management/planning of a shoot, and acts as the lead field producer and in-house Art Buyer. Candidate must be proficient in video first production and work within a range of production environments from low touch mobile video to multi-camera content capture. Extensive knowledge of all social platforms, creative opportunities/framework per platform, and image and video requirements a must. Candidate who owns camera equipment with Shooting and Editing experience a plus. Candidate must also be proficient in photography workflows and oversee/support all photographers, art directors, retouchers and other tech crew members in the field. This position is responsible for both administrative and production work.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Work directly with social strategy, creative & events teams to coordinate all details related to social shoots.
* Work directly with creative ops as well as creative/art directors, set design, stylists and account managers on the development and execution of advertising shoots.
* Manage production end to end - planning, shoot, post-production
* Present realistic solutions to execute creative vision within budget.
* Negotiate rates and book photographers, models, hair and make-up artists, tailors, animal talent, locations, fit models, photo studios, caterers, production assistants, and video crews.
* Coordinate and secure all travel arrangements, insurance, and permits
* Generate shoot estimates, booking confirmations, digital guidelines, and call sheets.
* Manage/support the actual on set production depending on the project
* Negotiate usage fees with agents
* Reconcile all shoot related billing and expenses

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* College degree
* Experience in shoot production necessary
* Experience within the fashion industry is a plus
* Highly detail oriented
* Strong negotiation and budget management skills
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Experience multi-tasking / juggling multiple projects simultaneously, across multiple channels in a fast paced environment
* Ability to work independently
* Must work well under pressure
* Willing to travel
* Strong and confident presence, cool under pressure
