The Financial Applications Team is seeking an SQA Analyst who will be responsible for planning testing efforts and executing on small to large enterprise level applications by translating functional requirements, project documentation, release notes into test requirement and scenarios. Additional responsibilities will include developing and executing automated/manual test cases for regression, develop and execute load/performance testing and coordinate with development teams for test planning and execution.
The ideal candidate will be experienced playing a QA role in a scrum/agile team, working with developers, requirements analysts, cross-functional teams, and QA testers, coordinating the testing work among them. The candidate is expected to become knowledgeable on assigned applications, to be able to analyze enhancements and new features; and validate system changes meet acceptance criteria standards.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelors degree in Computer Sciences or other analytical discipline or equivalent experience
* Minimum of two years experience executing test cases of web applications; for both, user interface and batch or event oriented processes that interface with other enterprise systems
* Minimum of one year experience doing test analysis, execution planning, and test case development
* Strong verbal and written communications skills to interact successfully with various team members and management
* Ability to demonstrate changes during review sessions and team meetings
* Minimum of one year' experience using a web-based development tracking tool for documenting test cases and managing identified bugs and defects, such as Quality Center or Azure DevOps
* Demonstrated experience with SQL and have the ability to create and execute queries to validate test results
Preferred Qualifications
* The candidate should have a strong technical background and experience in testing a major application release
* Experience leading QA of a major project or several minor projects
* Experience working on an agile/scrum development team
* Experience with automated testing and knowledge of C to create or update automation test scripts

Before Publix was founded in 1930, Mr. George worked at a Piggly Wiggly store in Winter Haven, Florida. While managing that store, the company experienced a change in ownership. In 1930, his dream became a reality when he opened his first Publix and established a workplace with an open door of communication where his associates were encouraged to share their ideas, ask questions and talk freely with one another regardless of their level in management.
