ROLE SUMMARY

The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion External Partnerships Lead is a new role within Pfizers global Talent Solutions Group. The role will oversee Pfizers Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategic partnerships tied to Diversity Recruiting and Enterprise Thought Leadership within DEI. This role is accountable for identifying and engaging with Pfizers DEI partners and will focus on developing an enterprise partnership strategy focused on positioning Pfizer as a visible, leading, and respected partner in the diverse communities we serve.

The position reports to the Global Head of D&I and is responsible for the management of key external DE&I relationships that elevate Pfizers visibility as leader.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

* Interface with all levels but directly working with Talent Acquisition, HR/OE Leads, ECRG Sponsors and Leads to share partnership opportunities for recruiting diverse talent and to raise Pfizers external brand and visibility in diverse communities.
* Manage key diversity recruiting partnerships (eg. MLT, Inroads, Consortium, Thurgood Marshall, Reaching Out MBA, and DisabilityIn).
* Manage key external thought leadership relationships (e.g. Catalyst, Black Enterprise, Hispanic Association Corporate Responsibility (HACR), Human Rights Campaign (HRC), ASCEND, and Executive Leadership Council (ELC) and DisabilityIn, for maximum benefit in building Pfizers internal and external D&I brand
* Develop and design enterprise strategies that directly bolster and strengthen Pfizers external D&I brand.
* Partner with Corporate Affairs and MCOE to develop an integrated strategy that links D&I strategies and initiatives to other Pfizer foundation and external efforts.
* Ensure the completion of benchmarking tools or surveys in collaboration with respective PCCs and our Communications point of contact.
* Manage partnership budget including renewals and enhanced expenses to maximize return on investment for Pfizer DEI, Talent Acquisition and PCC stakeholders
* Develop a tracking mechanism to assess the ROI of each partnership.
* Develop a process to ensure the appropriate ELT member is engaged with each partnership and work with COS to ensure they are aware of their role and have the appropriate details needed.
* Provide day-to-day management and support of diversity external partnerships fare in line with DEI priorities
* Provide complete project management support including managing project plans, tracking deliverables, monitoring status of projects, conducting follow-ups and managing communications
* Partner with project sponsors and managers to deliver projects within clearly defined cost, quality and time criteria
* Accountable for influencing key Diversity & Inclusion stakeholders and partners, senior leaders, and HR Business Partners to ensure the delivery of consistent messages across audiences and manage leadership requests for information
* Escalate issues, implications, and recommendations to key stakeholders in a manner that drives informed decision making and desired results
* Proactively identify changes in work scope and ensure appropriate planning measures are taken with internal and external stakeholders to reassess/renegotiate/amend scope of work activities, proposals, contracts and budgets with each of the partnerships
* Partner with Reporting and Analytics team and Global Workforce Intelligence teams on a regular and ad hoc basis for reporting requests and analytics

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
* 7+ years of Diversity and Inclusion, Human Resources or relevant business experience
* BS/BA Degree
* Verbal/Written Communication Skills
* Organization Skills
* Relationship Management
* Executive Presentations
* Financial Management
* Events Management (internal and external)
* Excellent operational and interpersonal skills with a strong emphasis on partnering.
