ROLE SUMMARY

The Advanced Customer Engagement Director (ACED) is a Customer-Facing Account-based Marketer and a member of the local Integrated Account Teams (IAT) within the Region they support. The individual in this role will work across a broad, multi-disciplinary group of regional account stakeholders to develop patient-driven strategy and marketing solutions, creating opportunities for IM BU priority products with influential Health Systems.

The majority of the ACE Directors time will be working directly with customers on strategy and marketing approaches that draw on deep customer insights to:

* Enable simple, efficient, & effective execution of population health solutions

* Drive scalability and acceleration of advanced customer engagements

* Evolve brand & disease state approach

The remainder of the ACE Directors time will include cross-functional work on advanced projects and key initiatives to inform and shape current and future Health System engagement across Internal Medicine KAM. Internal stakeholder collaboration includes, but is not limited to, ACE Agency of Record, Brand Marketing, HIT Colleagues, KAM Platform & Enablement colleagues, Legal, Compliance, Medical, Procurement, and Digital.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

* Accelerate and optimize health system engagement via account-based marketing to drive incremental value for the customer, Pfizer, and the patient
* Work with the IAT and Health System customers to provide patient driven solutions that support mutually aligned goals for the customer and Pfizer
* Work with the IAT and the customer in developing an optimal plan for effectively implementing, communicating and improving patient care that is aligned to appropriate goals and KPIs and customers capabilities
* Ensure progress toward customer goals is monitored and plans are adjusted accordingly to ensure impact is established and sustained
* Core insight generation for the Region that informs strategy and optimizes execution and customer engagement
* Sharing of best practices across the region on the use of Brand and ACE resources that appropriately advances and accelerates customer initiatives
* Lead, develop and implement the POA in partnership with the brand and the KAM RD in line with KAM Platform Goals and KPIs
* Demonstrate Subject Matter Expertise specifically for
* Prioritized therapeutic areas
* Marketing & Communications
* Critical Account Management (project management + change management)
* Customer organizational governance/decision making/capabilities/stakeholder management

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Prior local and/or in-line marketing experience with strong history of achievement & performance preferred
* Customer-facing experience strongly preferred (Health System/MG/IDN Sales, Account Management, or other customer-facing role)
* Proven ability to develop insights, strategy, and tactical plans
* Cross functional experience is preferred

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

* Strong strategic analytical capability with sound business acumen and customer orientation
* Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to synthesize customer and market insights into prioritized marketing opportunities
* Result oriented with effective planning, prioritization and project management skills
* Core marketing capabilities to design marketing strategies and tactics to maximize local opportunities
* Knowledge of the healthcare market and its customers
* Effectively works with cross functional stakeholders and is capable of being an effective member of the regional team and Integrated Account Team
* Strong persuasive interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
* Sound business acumen

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

This position will require up to 50% travel within the region as needed to develop internal and external relationships. Travel outside the Region will be required periodically for training, meetings at NYHQ, launches, etc).
