The newly formed PepsiCo Data & Analytics Team is creating business-ready platforms and external data products. We are positioning our enterprise data marketplace so the business can easily shop & select for the reliable, certified, trusted products (external data sets) they need to drive improved decisions and business outcomes. We aspire to build the capability for self-service so our business partners can be served quickly and with high satisfaction. In order to drive enterprise awareness and adoption of our technology platforms we anticipate the need to market our products internally.

The Platform Marketing Senior Manager is a critical role working alongside senior Data & Analytics leadership. This role will work closely with the Platform Development & Solution Engineering teams, as well as other internal functions and agency partners, to generate support for our data platforms/products across functions and geographies. They will lead the brand strategy for the enterprise data marketplace, the future one-stop shop for all internal and external data within PepsiCo. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating the Product Strategy into clear and compelling communication assets (digital, video, print, owned site, etc.) to be leveraged in internal and external roll-out across multiple media & PR channels. They will also help identify where to play and how to win the hearts and minds of stakeholders of all levels of technical expertise to achieve key user and adoption milestones. They will also be responsible for translating the platform and product plans and releases into exciting, understandable communication assets to be leveraged in internal and external roll-out across multiple media & PR channels.

This role is a hybrid of a marketing, communications, and technology. It requires a mix of marketing, brand building, change management, internal communications, external PR, and technical understanding. The role also requires extensive collaboration across multiple functions, regions and agency partners. This role will work closely with our technology teams and partners and requires an entrepreneurial mindset. Additionally, this will involve significant exposure to senior stakeholders across PepsiCo. It is a unique role for someone looking for a broadening experience that expands their domain expertise and visibility and provides the foundation for more senior leadership roles in the organization.

Accountabilities:

* Lead the internal shift in culture by getting the enterprise excited about and engaged with the platforms which will enable business users to leverage data regardless of technical expertise
* Drive sustainable adoption of the data marketplace and future technology platforms by segmenting and targeting the right parts of the enterprise with relevant content, information, and use cases
* Accountable for Platform Marketing for the enterprise data marketplace, which serves as a Store for the business to engage external data sets, and future data products/platforms to be discovered
* Partner with Solution Engineering, business stakeholders, and leadership to understand current needs, customer experiences, and identify areas of opportunity to build support for the data marketplace vision and reinforce change management efforts to transform PepsiCo into a more data-oriented enterprise
* Own internal and external comms content development and messaging about the data marketplace and future technology platforms
* Develop and own metrics for measuring progress and assessing impact of data platforms and products, working closely with Solution Engineering team to measure and act against insights generated by user feedback/data
* Build selling stories for new platform/product releases, features, training, education, and accomplishments
* Understanding other related business data initiatives/tools not currently owned by us and how we position these as one complete story for the business and the teams leading those initiatives.
* Source and lead relationships with agency partners supporting internal and external marketing efforts
* Ensure all materials developed by Platform Development & Solution Engineering teams adhere to brand guidelines and elevate perceptions of our products
* Inform roadmap for future evolution of enterprise data marketplace and other data products/platforms in partnership with the Platform Development sub-team and Solution Engineering
* Builds internal and external (industry) excitement for Data Ecosystem initiatives
* Manages all external conference coordination and material creation for Platform Development in partnership with Global Corporate Communications

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications

* 10+ years of relevant experience in Brand Marketing, Innovation Marketing, Product Marketing, Communications, and related functions.
* Extensive experience developing strategies and content to drive new product/services awareness and adoption
* Extensive experience as a leader of communication strategy, marketing content development, designer of solutions for products and platforms with data/technical teams to inform product roadmaps, envision and define programs, writing inspiring agency briefs, and delivering projects with excellence on-time and within budget
* Familiar with current best practices in digital and data platforms and products
* Track record of building processes to develop and implement data/technology solutions to end-users, including impactful launches and post-launch support
* Experience with data modeling, data access, and data storage techniques
* Team management and mentorship
* Experience marketing digital tools, SaaS, and other tech product management preferred
