Preferred Qualifications
Oracle Database Security team has built a new Data Safe Cloud Service to unify the data security management. This Cloud Service will help customers to secure their Autonomous Databases and on-premises databases from both internal and external attacks. The service will evaluate the risk on the systems by understanding the data, users and configuration. With the built-in intelligent of the service, it can provide security controls to prevent unauthorized data access, monitor the database activities and detect threats.
We are looking for developers to build and enhance the following features:
- Sensitive Data Discovery: Identify and classify the sensitive data store in the database
- Data Masking: Mask the sensitive data so it can be shared with partners inside and outside of the business. Integrity of the database is preserved assuring the continuity of the applications
- Configuration Assessment: Identify and remediate the misconfigured security sitting. Continue to monitor any drift from baseline
- User Assessment: Identify the risk of the database users. Continue to monitor any draft from the baseline
- Security Policy Management: Leverage the Sensitive Data information and the user risk information to drive security policies to protect the data
Responsibilities:
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement a new product.
Requirements:
Strong in JAVA
Experience in REST API, JSON, OSGi, Apache Felix
Familiar with Database Concepts and SQL
Experience in building Cloud Services
Experience in building Enterprise Scale Software
Experience in building Enterprise Security Products
Knowledge in in Security Concepts
Knowledge in Oracle Database and Relational Database a plus
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
