Construction and Engineering Global Business Unit (CEGBU) looking for a hands on, passionate Data Scientist to work on ground breaking initiatives in Machine Learing in the areas of planning, executing, and managing projects
for some of the largest organizations in the world. We are looking for someone who has previously designed new models, worked on cross product integration, and successfully delievered ML models into production. Ideal candidate
must have Oracle DB knowledge, work well with multiple teams in different locations, and enjoy new challenges, new technologies, and being on the leading edge in a fast pace environment.
Key Competencies: Hands-on model building for Data Science, NLP & Computer Vision problems.
Strong written and verbal communication and can work closely with the engineering and product management teams to solve complex problems with unique data, analysis, algorithms, and insights, and is expected to build and lead a team around these competencies.
Technical Skills:
7-10 years of hands-on software development and Machine Learning/Modelling experience
Have full stack experience in data collection, aggregation, analysis, visualization, productisation, and monitoring of data science products
Proficient in data modeling work: Python, R
Proficient in big data modeling work: Hadoop, Pig, Scala, Spark & PySpark
Data experience: PL%5CSQL, Pandas, Oracle DB
Deploy data science solutions: Python, R, Java
Familiarity with various ML libraries like TF, Keras, PyTorch, OpenCV
Familiarity with Oracle products like OAC, OBIEE & ADW - nice to have
Designs, develops and programs methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse big data sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement.
Interacts with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments. Develops and codes software programs, algorithms and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources. Identifies meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources; interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments to product, service, and business managers.
Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Acts as a leader of large-scale company initiatives. Viewed by peers as a leader and top contributor and by line management as a key business partner. 10 plus years experience. BA/BS degree preferred.
