Job Description

Preferred Qualifications
Oracle Compliance Test Technician

Responsibilities include:

Manage test equipment calibration requirements
Create, maintain and follow department Standard Operating procedures, (SOP's).
Know and perform radiated emissions tests according to ANSI C63.4/ GR-1089-CORE/EN50081-1/2 Standards
Perform immunity testing for CE mark EN50082-1/2 standards
Know and follow Compliance department specifications and procedures
Test Preparation & Planning
Test Report Generation

Responsible for Oracle EMC Lab tests and procedures as follows: Emissions Testing:

Radiated Emissions, 30MHz - 40GHz (10m Chamber)
Line Conducted Emissions, 150kHz - 30MHz

Immunity Testing:

Harmonic Current Emissions
Voltage Fluctuation & Flicker
Quasi-Peak and Average Procedure
Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)
Radiated Immunity, 30MHz - 1000MHz (10m Chamber)
Electrical Fast Transients (EFT) / Burst
Surge
Conducted Immunity, 150kHz - 80MHz (CRFI)
Voltage Dips & Interruptions (VDI)

The selected candidate shall be validated to have previously met Level II technical standards (or equivalent) as defined below:

Level I - Approved to setup and conduct test ONLY under the supervision of a tech level II or level III.
Level II - Fully approved to setup and conduct tests without supervision and to provide supervision of a tech level I as necessary.
Level III - Responsible for test procedures and for providing training to other techs on the procedures as necessary.

Have excellent computer and technical skills with strong written and verbal communication. Capable of handling multiple programs, lab test equipment and Information Technology Equipment (ITE) under test.

Supports engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems, experimental design circuitry or specialized test equipment

Supports engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems, experimental design circuitry or specialized test equipment. Applications may include analog, digital and/or video circuits, and logic systems. Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions. Performs operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment. Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Assists in the design, construction, test and check-out of test equipment. Uses manufacturing, test, development or diagnostic equipment, including, but not limited to, test programs oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test apparatus.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years relevant work experience. BS/BA preferred.
