Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Cold Finish and Wire Products Utah is seeking a leader committed to taking care of our customers. The successful candidate for Plant Manager will be a safety-minded, results-oriented, cost and quality-driven applicant. This is a department-manager-level position and candidates must have a positive recommendation from their department manager and general manager. This position reports directly to the general manager. Safety is an important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety practices, policies, procedures and housekeeping standards to make safety a priority always.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
* Safely guiding/directing ALL aspects of the cold finish business, including involvement in establishing the commercial and strategic direction for the division, as well as financial performance and operational efficiency and effectiveness.
* Developing, encouraging, and maintaining a culture focused on safety.
* Initiate a teamwork approach to managing while motivating others to recognize and achieve personal and team growth opportunities.
* Work together with sales to maximize profitability for the division and the company.
* Work collaboratively with peers, departments and other plants to ensure the success of the company through continuous improvement and excellence in process and people.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Previous steelmaking, fabricating, manufacturing and/or cold finish experience.
* Minimum five years supervisory, management, or formal leadership experience.

This segment sells its ferrous scrap to electric arc furnace steel mills and foundries for manufacturing process; and nonferrous scrap metal to aluminum can producers, secondary aluminum smelters, steel mills and other processors, and consumers of various nonferrous metals.
