Northrop Grumman is seeking experienced and motivated Real Estate Planning Analyst. This position will be located either in our Los Angeles or Falls Church locations, remote work may be considered.

This position is intended to help Corporate Real estate achieve four keys to organizational agility in a real estate context:(1) Business process that is sufficiently responsive to recognize and act on changing customer and market conditions; (2) Incorporate technology solutions so they communicate across the organization, convey rapid situational awareness, and facilitate decisions and resulting action; (3) Identify, build and develop intellectual capital needed to increase Northrop Grumman rsquo;s competitive positioning; and (4) mobilize different functions across the firm to help Northrop Grumman achieve top line growth and bottom line performance through timely effective real estate decisions and transactions resulting in beneficial financial and operations results.

Roles and responsibilities of the Real Estate Planning Analyst will include the following:

* Work collaboratively with sectors and corporate staff to research and communicate real estate requirements forecast across the firm, and expected market conditions over the planning period
* Prepare alternative scenario spreadsheet models, discounted cash flow analysis, business case analysis to help identify and recommend transaction contract structure, portfolio optimization opportunities, and help track changes to real estate portfolio baseline and costs.
* Research and provide (as may be requested by other corporate finance staff members) real estate data and analysis for financial forecasting and reporting, annual operating plan, and capital budgets.
* Research and provide (as may be requested by corporate government accounting, mergers amp; acquisitions, and tax) real estate documents, cost breakdowns, transaction analysis, and recommendations.
* Support real estate related audits, reviews, fact-finding, and negotiations as requested by internal customers and company management.
* Prepare and deliver recommendations and management briefings.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor 39;s degree with 10 years of relevant experience; or a Master 39;s degree with 8 year of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master 39;s degree with 1 year of relevant experience.
