Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an experience Facilities Principal or Sr. Principal ProjectManagement. This position will be located in Huntsville, AL.

This positions standard work schedule is a9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Mondaythrough Thursday to take every other Friday off.

What Youll Get To Do:

Serve as an overall integration function for the program engaging in many ad hoc activities required to ensure streamlined personnel logistics and facilities management.

Collaborate with different functions to manage space planning

Support the build-up of facilities.

Facilitate internal and external meetings to support the program and represent program management in appropriate program reviews or boards

Support to Identify and mitigate project risks throughout project life cycle

Support development of networking infrastructure

Identify opportunities for change and champion needed changes in the organization

Successful candidates will have the following key attributes:

Proactive anticipates requirements from higher management, and initiate and complete actions required to meet those requirements

Perceptive sees the big picture but is also able to focus on the details and follows all of them through to completion

Composed maintains a level head in the extremely dynamic, fast-paced, and demanding environment, especially when working closely with executive management on projects with highly compressed timelines and tight deadlines

Discretion self-initiates tasks with considerable latitude for independent judgment.

Qualification

This position can be filled at either a level 3 or level 4.

You rsquo;ll Bring These Qualifications for level 3:

Bachelor rsquo;s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related disciplines with 6-9 years of relatable work experience.

Excellent oral and written communication skills; intermediate to expert in Microsoft Office Suite - Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance

Ability to travel for business up to 10%

Experience managing facility construction/improvement projects valued at $5M or more.

You rsquo;ll Bring These Qualifications for level 4:

Bachelor rsquo;s degree in Business Administration or Engineering related disciplines with 10-14 years of relatable work experience.

Excellent oral and written communication skills; must have previous experience leading a team in successful completion of projects

Previous experience in SAP, Business Warehouse, intermediate to expert in Microsoft Office Suite - Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

Ability to obtain and maintain DoD clearance

Ability to travel for business up to 10%

Experience managing facility construction/improvement projects valued at $5M or more.

Preferred Qualifications:

Active DoD Secret Clearance

Previous Project Management experience within Aerospace industry
