Northrop Grumman rsquo;s Strategic Space System rsquo;s Division (SSSD) is seeking a Proposal Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future at the Redondo Beach, CA location. The Proposal Analyst will report to the Price Cost Estimating Manager. The candidate for this role will be persistent, tenacious, analytical and able to meet deadlines in a challenging, multi-tasking environment.

This position requires a Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret (TS) clearance or a clearance that includes a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI). Also required is the ability to obtain Specialized Compartmented Information (SCI) Access.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Develops, plans and schedules proposals, including leading and supporting small to medium cost proposals
* Compiles cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications and other customer requirements
* Coordinates the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments
* Researches and analyzes historical data, develops cost models to support proposal efforts
* Coordinates activities and participates in customer fact-finding meetings.
* Participates in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives
* Lead and support DCAA audit reviews for proposals
* Participates as a member of the contract negotiating team

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor 39;s Degree
* 3 years of experience in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Economics to include performing Cost Accounting, Pricing and Estimating Concepts and Principles OR; a Master 39;s Degree and 1 year of stated experience
* Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and other government regulations
* Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word
* Must have current DoD Top Secret or SSBI/SCI clearance

* Master rsquo;s Degree
* Experience working for a cleared client
