Northrop Grumman rsquo;s Aeronautics Systems sector has an opening for a Support Hardware Manager 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Logistics and Modernization division. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL.

* Responsible for managing and coordinating Supply Support efforts.
* Single point of accountability for monitoring the cost and schedules for provisioning, spares, repairs and material supply of aircraft systems, support systems, support equipment and training equipment material to support operation and maintenance during all phases of development, test, and operations.
* Responsible for identifying design and issue impacts across Supply Support products and communicating to all Logistics stakeholders.
* Coordinates with suppliers to understand and resolve issues associated with supply support analyses and products.
* Reviews status of supply support projects and budgets including EVMS indices; prepares and manages schedules and prepares status reports on the health of the projects.
* Identifies risks and opportunities and coordinates with project teams to mitigate and retire risks.
* Assesses issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
* Prepares briefings for management and develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and tools for intervention and problem solving with project managers, peers, suppliers and clients.
* Responsible for the management and direction of the Supply Support Team.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

* Must have a Bachelor 39;s degree AND 10 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in engineering and/or product support, OR a Master 39;s degree AND 8 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in engineering and/or product support.
* Must have an active DoD Secret clearance that is in-scope (granted or renewed within the last 6 years).
* Must be able to attain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Current Special Program Access (PAR)
* Professional and/or military leadership experience in a matrixed organization
* Background within the Aerospace and Defense industry
