Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services is seeking a Director of Security to lead security operations for our Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) sector from our Fall Church, VA facility. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Corporate amp; Enterprise Services Security, with co-reporting to the VP/GM Mission Systems and VP/CIO amp; PMO for Mission Systems. This position manages security operations across a large business sector for NG, assuring the security of people, facilities, programs, and operations in a highly dynamic, diverse, and geographically dispersed set of National Security efforts. Additionally, this position will require work in our Fairfax, Virginia and Baltimore, Maryland locations. Other domestic and international travel may be required, as well.

The successful candidate will provide senior oversight and leadership to Program and Industrial Security Operations spanning all MS programs, sites and activities across the continental US and globally. As the Sector Security Director, will be a member of the NG Security Council and will help lead/enable all security management and functions across NG in partnership with the Enterprise Security leadership team. Will be part of the Sector rsquo;s leadership team, enabling planning and execution of all aspects of the NG security for programs, contracts and operations ranging from unclassified/NG Proprietary to Collateral, Special Access Programs (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs. Roles and responsibilities:

* Provide security executive leadership for the Mission Systems Sector and the industrial security program that safeguards the sector rsquo;s people, facilities and information. Will have a significant leadership role for the MS Sector for advocating, nurturing and maturing key program security partnerships across all elements to enable best possible program security planning, support and execution of MS programs and activities. This includes a large, diverse and geographically dispersed Industrial Security team, Classified Information Systems Security teams, MS Sector Program Management and other MS and NGC Enterprise organizations (i.e. MS Program Management Office (PMO), Operations, Contracts, Human Resources, Business amp; Finance, Facilities, Communications, Legal, etc.)
* Focus on assuring program security execution, consistency, partnership, effectiveness, compliance and integration across all Division, Sector and Enterprise security and information assurance areas, across all security levels ndash; Unclassified/Proprietary, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), Collateral, SCI and SAP
* Will apply expert multi-discipline program security management experience (Program Security, OPSEC, PERSEC, Physical Security, Technical Security, Information Assurance, INFOSEC, COMSEC, etc.) to enable execution, reduce/eliminate redundancies, and assure cross-discipline and cross-organizational teamwork through consistent and repeatable process management
* Will assist VP Security and NGC Enterprise Security in representation with senior customer (IC and DOD) security counterparts in multiple forums. Must be willing to seek and take on active and direct roles with Industry/Government security organizations (i.e.: ISWG, NDIA, AIA, CSSWG, NISPPAC, etc.) to include active working group participation, executive committee membership and chair/vice chair positions as/if possible
* Interface with all levels of corporate and government management personnel for all pertinent security issues
* Will assume a significant role for MS Sector and NGC Enterprise Security in support of enterprise-wide Compliance Framework activities (i.e. pre-inspection team leadership) and execution
* Coordinate with senior business area leadership to resolve issues that could have an impact on the security, safety and compliance of employees, programs, facilities and operations
* Collaborate effectively with the Corporate Security Council and the MS Sector leadership team
* Collaborate with and participate in MS Operations Division and Enterprise PMO activities
* Responsible for the planning, management and execution of MS Security budget. Manage the integration of all security initiatives and security budget across the sector and ensure employee engagement and facilities change as necessary to meet contract compliance while meeting operational and business goals
* Oversee sector emergency and crisis management planning and execution, with integrating role in corporate crisis management and business resilience planning and execution
* Manage both domestic and international security programs that define, develop, implement and oversee sensitive or classified programs and corporate security initiatives
* Oversee implementation of processes related to classified contract management, program security, classified programs, insider threat, Counterintelligence awareness, Supply Chain Security, compliance with government standards, COMSEC, workplace violence prevention, security awareness, asset protection, access control, badge and identification, and ITAR/Export related security measures
* Engage with international NG entities to ensure security compliance
* Oversee the investigation of Security incidents and assist with disciplinary and legal matters as necessary
* Provide leadership, guidance and professional development for a network of Site and Program Security personnel
* Engagement in the Sector operating objectives of digital transformation, operational efficiency and agility goals to enable program growth and execution

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor rsquo;s degree with a minimum of 10 years of Security related experience; OR a Master rsquo;s degree with minimum of 8 years of Security related experience is required
* Candidates must have at least 8 years of experience in Industrial Security across the entire security spectrum (DOD, IC and NISPOM ndash; Collateral, SCI and SAP), Physical Security, Cyber Information Assurance, COMSEC and Emergency/Crisis Management planning and execution
* Must have at least 8 years of management and/or leadership experience in National Security classified programs and managing complex resources and budgets for large security teams
* Candidates must have a current DOD Top Secret level security clearance in order to be considered
* Must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, an SCI access level as a condition of continued employment

Preferred Qualifications:

* The ideal candidate will have a Master rsquo;s degree and 16 years of experience in Industrial Security, to include 8 years in management with the last 3 years as a Senior Manager, a Regional Manager, or a Director of security personnel
* Demonstrated ability to plan and manage diverse and geographically dispersed security programs and teams across multiple disciplines to include Program/Industrial Security, Facility Security Officer (FSO) and Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) duties, Information/Cyber Security, COMSEC, Physical Security, Personnel Security, International Security
* Proven ability and experience working with US Government security leadership in DOD and IC security programs
* Strong collaborative skills

* Effective people skills, ability to develop and mentor, build teams, and the ability to relate
* Experience and direct participation with Government/Industry Security Organizations (ISWG, NDIA, AIA, NCMS, etc.)
* Demonstrated experience in making critical security program and management decisions for dynamic business units that support high-value contracts across a wide US Government customer spectrum (Intelligence Community, Defense, Energy, and other Civilian Departments/Agencies)
* Possess a breadth of demonstrated business, financial and management skills, knowledge and abilities to ensure maximum effectiveness
