Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector is seeking a Sr Principal Financial Analyst to support financial planning and reporting requirements for the Advanced Mission Solutions Operating Unit. This position will be located in Colorado Springs, CO.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Consolidation and analysis of financial planning inputs from multiple program.
* Monthly forecasting and closing activities
* Preparation and presentation of financial data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts
* Preparation of Long Range Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan financial requirements
* Forward Pricing Rate Development
* All other planning functions as necessary

Salary Minimum: $94,240
Salary Maximum: $141,360

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor 39;s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with 10 years of experience in finance, accounting or program control; Master 39;s degree and 8 years of experience
* Understanding of DOD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and the FAR
* Prior experience with government program budgeting and forecasting, as well as Annual Operating Plan development
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and SAP
* Prior experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to team and/or management.

Preferred Qualifications:

* A current, active Secret security clearance
* MBA or CPA certification
* Proficiency with Business Warehouse (BW)
* Previous experience managing/supervising a program, project, or personnel. This may be a lead position on a team.
* Experience with Cognos forecasting system
